Just back from a happy two-day tour of Glasgow's trees and a talk at the Aye Write book festival.
Glasgow has some wonderful climbing - from redwoods and larches in the botanical gardens to ancient hornbeams in Kelvingrove Park. Even The Necropolis has some veteran trees clinging to the summit, surrounded by tombstones.
Will be returning to 'the dear green place' at the first opportunity!
